Our season kickoff party was a blast last Friday and we had such a great turnout! We look forward to another awesome week of dance. Please read below for your weekly updates:
Our dress code has been lacking this year & we know it’s due to our dressing rooms being closed (we are so sorry!). Believe it or not, instructors are seeing a difference in work ethic and ballet postures because of this and we feel it’s our duty to still require the dress code. Coming to dance with your hair in a bun is a necessity – it keeps the dancer focused and engaged. If you have any tips or suggestions on how you are still making time for a ballet bun these days – please share on our parent Facebook group!
SDT Costume Consults
If you are a soloist looking for costume help – look no further, we are here! Sign-up below for your one-on-one design consult:
Due to low enrollment the following classes are cancelled:
- Petite Ballet (Saturdays 9:00 am)
- Pointe Advanced (Thursdays 8:30 pm)
- Junior Skills (Monday 7:15 pm) – Tuesday 6:45 pm is a great replacement!
New this year is our Company Trainee program – for dancers ages 8 & up! Dancers who are ready, were invited to train alongside our Company Dancers on Fridays. If this is a program your dancer might be interested in next season, please let us know now. Typically it takes a full year to prepare for this so Miss Talya can make sure you are on the right track.
MEA Break Reminder
October 14 – 18 is MEA Break – there will be NO dance.
